An exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias to become part of a large progressive organisation during a busy period of expansion. 

The main purpose of this role is to provide effective day-to-day fault location and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment where required, planned and preventative maintenance support for the company’s manufacturing equipment, operating on an early shift / back shift rotation.


The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Suggest and implement changes to PM programs to improve machine performance
  • Set-up, adjust, clean and make repairs for process equipment (e.g. Injection Moulding Equipment, Thermo Forming and Screen Printing


Candidates wishing to apply to this role must have the following experience and skills:

  • Must have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship
  • Be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Sound diagnostic and fault finding skills
  • Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • The ability to understand electrical diagrams/drawings
  • Basic fault finding on PLC equipment and inverter drives
  • Ability to work under pressure and to high standards
  • Experience in carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance within a high volume manufacturing/production environment
